About the Appeal
The development of the new all weather Sports Pavilion and three new courts on Katandra Road at the School is the catalyst for Kilvington’s complete transformation of the outdoor sports area.

The purpose-designed and built Sports Pavilion will cover one of the three new courts, and will, no doubt, become a landmark of the School. The Pavilion will be multifunctional, allowing the School the flexibility to use this area for sport and other events, including performing arts shows.
 

This new, state of the art, integrated playing space for both Junior and Senior School students will:

• Offer flexibility for playing sports in all weather
  
• Increase opportunities for active play at recess and lunch
  
• Provide larger areas for sports and other activities
  
• Help raise the profile of many different sports at the School
  
• Enhance Physical Education, sporting programs and training
  
• Provide opportunities for community use.

The total estimated cost of this project is approximately $1.1 million with most funds coming from the Australian Government’s Building Education Revolution (BER) Program and a contribution from the School.
