Booklist

The Kilvington Parents' and Friends' Association conducts a Secondhand Book Sale each year, giving you the opportunity to sell your books and purchase second hand books.  The sale usually occurs on the first Saturday in December.

The PFA is very conscious of the excessive use of paper so we publish the list of books accepted for sale/purchase to the Kilvington Website, so students can download the list, form and instructions if they wish to participate. 

Watch out for these reminders.  As the date draws closer we will:

• publish the list, form and instructions to this webpage
• email all students to remind them, and
• advertise the Sale in “In the Know”

This year we hope to include calculators in the sale, being an expensive item to purchase new. 

Here are some of the criteria we operate under:

• Sale price is 60% of the new price printed on the Kilvington booklist.
• If the book is sold, 20% of the sale price will be retained by the PFA as a selling commission. This is used to assist the School in funding special projects. The balance of the sale price will be credited to your daughter’s next School account. If your daughter is not returning to school then a cheque will be posted out to the address listed on the School records.
• On the sale day you can pay by cash, cheque and EFTPOS.

During fourth term we will also ask for volunteers to help run the Sale.  Volunteering means you can purchase your books before the sale starts, and its good fun too.
