Student Leadership Program
Leadership skills are one of the most important elements of success.
At Kilvington, we prepare students for the challenges of leadership. There are four major leadership positions at Kilvington: Captain, Vice Captain, Social Services Captain and Student Representative Council (SRC) Captain. It is the role of these Leaders to publicly represent our School, organise activities, and provide inspiring leadership to other students.
There are also four House Captains, four Vice House Captains, and four House Music Captains. The Vice House Captains are from Year 11, while all other Captains are from Year 12. Students of different ages are able to jointly participate with their elders, giving them a valuable sense of shared responsibility.
In addition, Kilvington also has a position allocated for one Year 9 leader from each House. Like the Year 11 positions, the Year 9 program provides younger students with the opportunity to develop leadership skills.
