McKie Resource Centre
Students are welcome in the recently refurbished McKie Resource Centre which houses the School’s Library and online resources. It provides a light filled, quiet space where students can relax with a book, complete homework or research. The Resource Centre caters for all students from ELC to VCE by providing appropriate resources, comfortable spaces and caring staff.
The Resource Centre has a dedicated Junior Library area where ELC and junior classes visit regularly with their teachers to enjoy literature and develop their researching skills.
For secondary students, the Library provides a wide selection of print and electronic material to support the Curriculum, as well as a comprehensive collection of novels for recreational reading. Information Literacy and Research skills are taught co-operatively with classroom teachers to enhance student learning.
At the McKie Resource Centre, we aim to help our students develop skills for independent and lifelong learning, and to promote wide reading and interest in current issues and literature.
Library Hours: 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 4pm on Friday.
