Music Soars at Kilvington
This year so far has been a busy and exciting one in the Music Department. We started with the production of “High School Musical On Stage” which was a huge hit thanks to all the hard work from the students, staff and helpers.
We have enjoyed listening to our gifted musicians as they perform in the Soirees held at school recently. The Scholars Concert will be held later in the year and the Music Prize will also showcase the depth of the girls’ talent.
The Madrigals are busy rehearsing new songs for the upcoming South Street Eisteddfod in Ballarat, which is a very prestigious event featuring a wide variety of musical styles. The Annual Concert will be held at the Glen Eira Town Hall on Friday 22 August and is sure to be a very entertaining evening.
