Success at Ballarat Eisteddfod

Kilvington students performed in six sections of the Royal South Street Eisteddfod in Ballarat recently and received a place in every section, including first place in the Open School Choir section with the Senior Choir the Madrigals. The Contemporary Ensemble also competed at the event and their performance was highly commended.

The Ballarat Eisteddfod is regarded as one of the most prestigious in the State. Principal Jon Charlton said ”The students should be very proud of their effort. They, along with the staff have dedicated many hours to prepare for the competition and as a result have performed very well”.
