Kilvington offers a comprehensive core Curriculum combined with specialist subjects to provide a high quality, balanced education. Co-curricular activities allow the
girls to select topics of special interest such as debating, music, creative arts, music, sports and more.

Learning programs are developed with a sound understanding of best practice in girls’ education. New programs are added and existing ones modified to ensure they are engaging, relevant, stimulating and developmentally appropriate. Students from kindergarten to VCE are empowered to think, explore and inquire. Importance on developing the essential skills of reading, written expression, mathematics, science and technology is maintained through the years at Kilvington.

The curriculum has been developed to best practice standards and provides an extensive selection of subjects. Co-curricular activities present many opportunities for each girl to select areas of interest to compliment their core studies.

Guest speakers address the girls on relevant topics to increase their awareness and empower them with a fresh perspective.

Learning also takes place off campus through excursions, camps, partnerships with other groups and involvement in the wider community.

Technology is incorporated at all levels throughout the school to ensure students are equipped to learn in the fast paced world in which we live. A whole school wireless network, laptops, interactive whiteboards all assist in the learning process and Kilvington is committed to providing the latest in technology.

Upon graduation Kilvington girls can be satisfied in knowing they have been encouraged at every stage of their learning journey. They venture into the wider world with confidence and a strong sense of self, to make a contribution and enjoy all it has to offer.
