A Welcoming Environment
Our facilities have been specifically designed to cater for the needs and activities of students of different ages, such as spacious classrooms, a new state-of-the-art STEAM centre and library, a purpose built sport and fitness centre, playgrounds, and gardens, with more new spaces and amenities on the way in the near future.
At Kilvington, safety in the classroom and playground is paramount, we take great lengths to ensure our School offers safe spaces in which students can learn, play and explore.

Officially opened in early 2024, The HIVE is Kilvington's new three-level, state-of-the-art STEAM and Library Centre.
The HIVE stands for Harmony, Innovation, Vision and Excellence, and is where learning, innovation and entrepreneurship is supported by contemporary spaces for science, robotics, systems engineering, media and more. There are also casual and formal learning spaces, and project collaboration areas.
With sustainability at the forefront, The HIVE incorporates natural ventilation and airflow, solar control with integrated louvres, recycled flushing water and renewable energy via solar panels.
Located on the ground floor of The HIVE is Kilvington’s new Library space, which is a central hub for all students to enjoy, and take advantage of, an immense collection of physical and digital resources which assist children and young adults in their exploration of all areas of study, thoughts, and ideas.
We recognise students of all ages benefit from being physically active, and is essential for good physical and mental health and wellbeing which improves concentration and thinking skills.
The Sport Centre was opened in 2019, exclusively designed to host an array of different sport, exercise, and physical activities for students, staff and our Kilvington community.
Kilvington prides itself on its music programs and scholarships, as such our dedicated music space, named after Kilvington alumni and teaching stalwart Patsy Venn, allows us to nurture student talent and provide tuition in a diverse range of instruments.
Our Music Centre comprises of private teaching spaces, acoustic music pods, and an orchestral music hall.
Kilvington's VCE Study Centre offers young adults fully equipped VCE classroom spaces, plus breakout areas and kitchen facilities for independent study and discussion.
Kilvington’s Middle School curriculum requires varied and adaptable learning spaces. The Middle School Centre of Excellence was created to facilitate students' creativity, ideas, robust discussion, and academic excellence.
There are 4 state-of-the-art general learning spaces, an open area designed for a variety of learning activities, a seminar space, and quiet breakout rooms for private study.
Kilvington’s Early Learning Centre comprises of diverse, warm, and inviting indoor and outdoor learning spaces which have been thoughtfully designed to foster creative exploration, while encouraging interaction and communication.
